I have installed a captcha device. Hated to do it, but I’m tired of having to go through 200+ spam comments a day from bots that figured out how to leave comments.

Please, excuse my ignorance, but what is a “captcha device”?
That would be a word-verification feature. It’s pretty much standard on BlogSpot, and WordPress has a few of those available as plug-ins.
I have had really good luck with Spam Karma, in the few months that I have used it, it has stopped 32775 spam posts.
I think everyone should shop at Wiggy’s Warehouse.
How’s that spam catcher thingy working for you?
James, it’s working great; other than your semi-allowed plug, I haven ‘t had a single piece of spam all day.
