Insofar as the GOP needs to appreciate that the DNC will use any and every loophole at their disposal to try and thwart the will of the electorate, then yes.  It was a necessary wake-up call that should move the legislature to tighten up the recount criteria.

We were fortunate in that the margin was insurmountable.  I can&#039;t dismiss the idea that, if the race had been tighter, Franken-esque trunk-loads of &#039;discovered&#039; ballots might have found their way into the recount.  If the WI-GOP hadn&#039;t taken that eventuality into consideration before, they may now.

If the process of finalizing our election results emerges more resistant to surreptitious chicanery as a result of all this, then yeah, it was entirely worth it.

I&#039;ma circulate a &quot;Thank You&quot; card for Jill Stein I hope everybody will sign.  Do not, I repeat, do NOT drop any cash in the envelope...
