The repository of one hard-boiled egg from the south suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin (and the occassional guest-blogger). The ramblings within may or may not offend, shock and awe you, but they are what I (or my guest-bloggers) think.Tue, 29 May 2012 17:29:59 +0000

My state currently has a Democrat governor and a Republican lieutenant governor, so these splits do happen. I would have expected that people who vote Democrat (or Republican) for governor would also vote Democrat (or Republican) for lieutenant governor. I don’t understand why voters are willing to have the two positions filled by people from opposing parties, but my state is proof it happens.
BTW, I keep thinking about Harry Reid’s re-election in 2010. He ended up winning by a far larger margin than the final polls implied. Most people gave credit to the organizational skills of the unions to get out the vote.
Walker supporters better not be complacent and take his (and hopefully Kleefish’s) win for granted.
