I’m familiar with it, and that (give or take rounding) is the combined cash deficit for 2010.

The reason why I try to avoid talking about the combined operations is that they aren’t combined. Under current law, the moment the DI “trust fund” hits $0.00, the disability benefits will be cut to whatever comes in that day because the DI fund can’t borrow from the multi-trillion-dollar OASI fund, and neither fund can have a cash-on-hand balance at the end of a business day.

The monthly transaction report. This comes out early. Useful. Add up the purchases/sales. The result is the net cash flow for the month. This is about one month before the other data, but with this number you can work backward.

I used this and came up with cash from for oasdi 2010 -49b.
