They’ll blather and pontificate and blame it on the rich and the corporations, and wait for the Repubs to control the government again (as they will). With disaster looming, the Repubs will be forced the make the hard decisions such as moving up SSI retirement age, cutting pensions, etcetera–then the Dems will scream and yell and demonize them…but won’t roll back the changes (oh, they’ll have excuses for why they can’t). Getting the Repubs to do the dirty work of governing has been a Dem trademark forever.
