Given the continued disillusionment in the country with the Obama-Pelosi-Reid triumvirate, standing up to the powers-that-be may ironically be the safest thing a politician can do for the upcoming election cycle. It reminds me of Stalin’s quote, “It takes a brave man to be a coward in the Red Army.” Except, it would take a very brave Democrat to continue on the suicidal course of this last year. And Obama doesn’t strike me as a general who leads from the front.
