I just love Seminar Commenters. You’re so easy to tweak. Would you rather have a Saddam Hussein-ruled Iraq, or perhaps an Iranian-dominated one, which would have happened once Hussein died without our presence? By the way, who signed the law that made it official American policy to overthrow Hussein back in 1998, and which party failed to so much as attempt to change that law once signed?
As for the timing, I suppose you don’t know the clock under which which the folks who put together the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Perspectives section operate. They close the public-submissions portion of that section during the day on Friday, while the Assembly did not take up the final budget until close to 6 pm. Since this was not a pre-buttal, and Priebus held out the hope that the Assembly would tell everybody to go back to the drawing board, there was no way for that to have made Sunday’s paper.
]]>But this is funnier: ” Since, judging by the time it hit my comm-box, it arrived too late to make Sunday’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel…” The Republican Party Leader is a day late and a dollar short? Oh surprise.
Thanks for the input Reince. You are priceless.
