The repository of one hard-boiled egg from the south suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin (and the occassional guest-blogger). The ramblings within may or may not offend, shock and awe you, but they are what I (or my guest-bloggers) think.Fri, 03 Apr 2009 01:33:14 +0000

Right about where the demographics suggest. Perhaps you havent noticed a structural and fundamental change happening in America. The boomers and their value system has been offerred early go aways, and the numbers from here suggest they are rapidly becming the new minority.

Don’t know how that got caught in the spam filters, but it’s out now.
I’ll argue that those things are happening, from a continuing-to-crater market to a raising of taxes even as the “betters” refuse to pay them. The $64 trillion question is whether the GOP is willing to take full advantage.
The fact that I called it the $64 trillion question should tell you why I am not surrendering.

There’s a LONG way to go before 2010. Lots of things can happen (and will) to seriously weaken the Left’s hand.
And as you know, the trigger-event will seem to be obscure (as was Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin, for that matter.)
Yes, there’s reason for concern, and for buying more ammo.
But it’s hardly time to declare surrender and walk away.
