We were supposed to get 2-4 on Maunday Thursday. By the time it stopped, 3DAYS LATER, we ended up with about 12″. I’m sure glad they’ve got this global warming thing figured out ’cause they can’t do squat with the next 72 hours!

As late as Maunday Thursday, the Good Friday Snowpocalypse was estimated to be no more than 3-6 inches. It turned into 12-15.

Worse, one underestimates the lake effect at one’s own peril. I remember one snowstorm when I worked on Milwaukee’s northwest side many moons ago. The snow was barely 2 inches there, but by the time I got to downtown Milwaukee, it was a foot. Needless to say, I was thankful I had a 4WD vehicle then.

You should know better than to declare winter dead before Tax Day :-)
