The repository of one hard-boiled egg from the south suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin (and the occassional guest-blogger). The ramblings within may or may not offend, shock and awe you, but they are what I (or my guest-bloggers) think.Thu, 31 Jan 2008 23:53:00 +0000

Drove to Iowa on a tank of E-10, returned on E-85. Same roads, same speeds, same cruise control (for practical purposes, anyway.)
E-85 gets 15% less mileage on my flex-fuel FoMoCo than E-10. So if you want equal price/mile, price of E-85 would have to be 15% (or greater) LESS than E-10.
Good luck with that, even with the Federal subsidies–and guess who pays for THOSE?
