I just got done quickly plowing through the brief US Solicitor General Paul D. Clement (friend of noted gun-grabber Rudy Giuliani) filed in District of Columbia v Dick Anthony Heller, (brief at SCOTUSBlog, H/T – Owen), and I have to say (language warning after the jump)…

To sum it up, the official position of the executive branch of the federal government is that, while the right to bear arms is an individual right, the federal government and its dependents should continue to be able to ban various classes of weapons, and more importantly, no existing restriction or ban should be overturned because the shits-for-brains in the federal government and its dependents are so much fucking wiser than the rest of us assholes.
Same fucking bullshit, same bipartisan shit-for-brains Party-In-Gubmint.
Of course, it’s POSSIBLE that one or more of the Supremes asked for this “out.”
