Hey, I enjoyed your writing..a bit too much swearing, but you got your point across. I agree with you. I’m involved in politics locally and nationally, so I don’t go around talking out of my ass like most people. It’s very important to have CORRECT facts before speaking. Without going into some major details (I wouldn’t do that to anyone, regardless of who they are, I figure if they are that screwed up, they will eventually screw themselves over..)..I’m somewhat of a “friend of the family” (ummm..) I live right next door to his daughter and SEE the family dynamics. My gosh, I wish I could elaborate! In MY opinion (and those of all my other neighbors) he should NOT be running for President. Although, I must say, I’m not too worried, in my professional opinion..he doesn’t have a chance in hell.

Anyways, steveegg, I’m making you my favorite blog of the day. Keep writing! I find it entertaining and enlightening!

Nice try, lieberal. That’s right, I’m calling you a lieberal, not a libertarian, and that’s based on what I’ve seen you post. With your rabid opposition to the ill-named Patriot Act, how would you have found out the 4 suicide pilots were, in fact, suicide pilots, much less the 15 “muscle” guys?

I am a student of history, so I know how wars end, both temporarily and “permanently”. Just as a recent example, I seem to recall the Japanese having the same reputation for fighting to the last man; yet we so thoroughly defeated them without killing every last one of them, they haven’t waged war since 1945. By the way, that would be the same Japanese your hero denied attacked us on December 7, 1941.

I assume you have the raw campaign numbers to back your claim up, and you’ll be forthcoming with said numbers. If not, I expect a retraction.

One-way? Oh ye of little faith. Make it a round-tripper and we might have a deal. I assume that you would testify in my defense in any upcoming trial relating to those activities, seeing I would be violating both US and Iraqi laws by participating as a private citizen.

So now you’re speaking for me and saying I wouldn’t support anything to prevent 9-11? Well if removing your rights under the so called patriot act is something that you support then you should probably move to communist China. They will probably keep you “nice and safe.” I for one would rather live in a free society and assume some obvious risk associated with it. Perhaps you’ve never heard that when you sacrifice liberty for security you lose both?

Now, the fact that we let some foreigner thugs pull off what they did on 9-11 is a travesty, but truthfully, how different is 9-11 from what happened to the fed building by one of our own? Both were acts of terrorism.

All we needed to prevent 9-11 was deport the people who were in our country learning how to fly planes, and alert the airline industry to what was happening so they could have prepared. To speak for me and say I wouldn’t support prevention of 9-11 makes you asinine. You obviously don’t know me so please don’t try to speak for me. Stick to your own lame argument. The case I just laid out would have prevented 9-11.

And your “wars are only won when the survivors give up”: listen to me carefully…”THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN TO THE PEOPLE YOU WANT TO ELMINATE!” They will fight you until every last one of them is dead. Now, I’m sure you’d say “that’s fine with me. Let’s keep fighting until they’re all dead.” The problem with that logic is: 1. you will never know who or where they are. 2. You can’t get to all of them since a lot of them live in the countries of our so-called allies (please tell me how you’d get those guys).

Think of how preposterous you sound. You want the United States of America, to fight an enemy with no army, navy, or air force! It’s like trying to eradicate serial killers; It will never happen! I’m sorry guy. Those are the facts. If we want to prevent another 9-11 we need to stop spending all this money overseas and use that money right here at home. For instance, we can increase our border patrol and customs agents. We can also let the states keep more of their own money so they can hire additional law enforcement to go after these criminals.

The scare-tactics that you and FOX NEWS push is propaganda aimed at feeble minded people and will NEVER work on true Americans, regardless of their support for Ron Paul.

Do I support Ron Paul? Hell Yes! He’s the first candidate to speak about change. You see, what you guys who speak out against Ron Paul don’t understand is that we Ron Paul supporters understand Ron Paul may not get all of his ideas through, but if he can only get a few of them through we’d live in a much better place.

Ron Paul must be saying something right; our troops around the world send him more money than any other candidate.

Lastly, please don’t let the fact that you can’t get into our military stop you from joining the fight. Please, fly over to Iraq and purchase a gun. Hell, I might even buy you a one way ticket.

There’s nothing like roasting Toofer Paul-nuts over an open fire. It certainly keeps me warm during these cold Wisconsin days.

First things first, Robert, I just love the disconnect you have on 9/11. You bitch that we did nothing to stop 9/11, yet you wouldn’t have supported anything that would have stopped it.

Next, the earmarks. The “everybody else is doing it” excuse is just a poor excuse. Where’s the convictions? Oh, that’s right, it’s all about the power and the money.

If the Army would have me, I would gladly go. Unfortunately, they 4-F’ed me about a dozen years ago.

As for Afghanistan, have you heard your idol lately? He wants out of there with the job almost-but-not-quite done. Wars are only truly won when a sufficient number of enemies are killed that the survivors give up.

Brush up on your history, and then we’ll talk.

You need to grow a spine and do some reading. The 9-11 attack was not a country attacking us, it was a group of mostly radical Saudi’s. You know, Saudi’s – one of our so-called allies? Furthermore, the CIA and FBI both had all the information about 9-11 but did NOTHING to prevent it.

About the earmarks: Ron Paul has a duty to his constituents to bring home earmarks as long as EVERYONE else is doing it.

You know Steve, like I’ve said in numerous posts, it’s real easy for you warmonger-bloggers to promote war when you are not the one going there to fight! I say we sign you up! Let’s get an assault rifle into your hands and send you over to whatever fucking country you want, and soon after let’s all listen to you cry about how you want to come. You’re a coward to say the least!

Maybe you forgot, during your moronic rant about Ron Paul, that he authorized the use of military force in Afghanistan? Now we’re in this big mess in Iraq, and you’re one of the minority idiots promoting a continued agenda of meddling in another country’s business.

I see I woke up the Paul-nuts by speaking in your language. Allow me to retort.

Do you idiots really think the Islamists want to co-exist with us? Nope; they want us either 110% like them or dead. Even if we all convert to some form of Islam, if it’s not the “right” one, they’ll still seek to kill us.

Islam has been at war with the rest of the world since the end of the 7th Century. Don’t believe me? Ask the few Orthodox Christians left in Turkey. Ask the Armenians. Ask the Spaniards. Ask the Indians. Ask the Filipinos. Ask various sub-Saharan Africans. Ask the French. Their goal is world domination, and we’re the only ones left standing in the way, unless you want the Red Chinese to run the planet.

Now, are you talking invasion or simply having the capability to kill us? The Islamists have demonstrated that capability. Mexico sure as hell is invading, though they’re far more interested in our resources than our deaths. Red China has enough missiles to take out the top 25 cities. Russia, which is rapidly trying to reform the old Soviet empire, has a few thousand nukes that are alternatively targeted at the US.

Speaking of big-government, you might want to ask the “good” Congressman about the earmarks he has. He’s been delivering the pork back to West Texas as well as anybody else not named Byrd or Stevens.

One more thing; I was extremely disappointed in the Bush response to the EP-3 downing.

As it is clear your IQ is below 50, I will do my best to explain this in simple English.

While your sweet delusions about spreading “peace and democracy” throughout the Muslim world are nice, they’re incredibly asinine. If you want to win the hearts and minds of the arabs, do it with your own money. The taxpayers have no need waste money to give you warm and fuzzy feelings.

What country in the world could attack us today? And yes, I mean country? Not terrorist group. Country. If you think terrorists all come from one country, you’re even more forgone than I care to know. What do you suggest? Nuking whatever country any of the terrorists come from? How ineffective. Was Iran even tied to 9/11 as you so claim? No. It was mostly tied to saudi money and people.

Your analysis is mind-numbingly pathetic. Go vote for Hillary so you can get your big-government and blundering foreign policy. Maybe, if you’re lucky, we’ll even join together in a north american government. That way we can get even more taxpayers to sponsor your adventures with democracy around the world.

I think the tone of this article is sad, steveegg. I, like many other conservatives, cheered the Limbaughs and the O’Reillys when their rants were the only counterpoint to a universal liberalism in the media. Karma, being what it is, has now turned their same shouting-down demagoguery back on us conservatives. The inquisitors, having run out of heretics, are raiding the choir.

If you shove everyone on the schoolyard, sooner or later you’ll get your ass kicked. The US under Neoconservative rule is that kid with the attitude problem. We’re the bully with the low self esteem, secretly afraid, but trying to put up a tough-guy front. We’re the guy who picks on the weak (Iran), but plays yes-man to the strong (China). Our re-invented party has become so belligerent that it offers nothing but insults, fear peddling, and war mongering. The Democrats are the same.

Don’t like 9/11? Don’t support the Shahs, Husseins, and Bin Ladens. We created these monsters by meddling in the affairs on other nations. Read up on your history. Paul has it right!
