Bring gun oil and put it on the slide and barrel before firing the weapon.  Put about 50 rounds through it, then quickly swab out the barrel w/cleaner and a boresnake--then re-oil the INTERIOR of the barrel before the next 50-100 rounds.

And buy different kinds of ammo so you can find out which one the gun &quot;likes&quot; best for accuracy.
