TV networks worldwide, including the (gum)ball-less Fox News Channel, CNN (which didn’t hesitate to show the Iraqi sniper video), and BBC have refused to show the drop that needs to be heard ’round the world. Fortunately, one of the witnesses used what appears to be a cell phone camera to capture that drop, and put the whole thing out there. Unfortunately, because the amateur filmer didn’t follow Saddam all the way down, we don’t have an official count on how many times he swung, but that’s proof positive that he didn’t escape the noose.
