Today is Purple Heart Day

Every August 7 is Purple Heart Day in Wisconsin.

So many brave men and women have been awarded the Purple Heart. Meet one of them, John Kriesel.

President Bush awarded Kriesel his Purple Heart just before Christmas in 2006.
