No Runny Eggs

The repository of one hard-boiled egg from the south suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin (and the occassional guest-blogger). The ramblings within may or may not offend, shock and awe you, but they are what I (or my guest-bloggers) think.

11/3 – Night of the Long Knives, ‘Rat edition

by @ 9:08. Filed under Miscellaneous.

I’ll bet that Milwaukee ‘Rats like Brian Burke (D-Convict) and former Assembly ‘Rat leader Shirley Krug are wondering where the traditional power base was when the Madison ‘Rats were busy taking over the party and kicking them to the curb. They showed up in the form of AFSCME to protect Peg Lautenschlager after a bunch of Assembly ‘Rats (now led by Madison ‘Rat Jim Kreuser) and governor Jim “Craps” Doyle publicly urged Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk to run against her in 2006. This is not a mealy-mouthed defense that Madison ‘Rats have come to expect from defenders of their Pubbie targets; rather, AFSCME reacted as though Vince Biskupic had come back to challenge Keg….

If you are so terrified by polls, why aren’t you calling for someone to take on the top of the ticket, which today seems like anything but a sure thing for Democrats? Better yet, why don’t one of you step forward and make a statewide run if you think it could be done better. Oh, that’s right, you’d rather call on others to do your bidding. To do otherwise would show guts, something you not only lack, but also clearly fear when you see it exercised by a real leader.

I’m just going to sit back, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the show.

Add O. Ricardo Pimentel* to the list of bigots at the Racist Jentinel

(H/T – Charlie Sykes)

Editor and Publisher reports that O. Ricardo Pimentel*, editorial page editor of the Racist Jentinel, joined asterisk editorial writer Gregory Stanford* in the gutter and exposes himeslf as a moonbat –

Pimentel said he had no regrets about running the editorial, and had no plans for a column or other explanatory note about it. “I let it in as a statement of fact,” he said of the editorial. “That Clarence Thomas did not represent mainstream black thought. I think that is demonstrably true if you look at his rulings. A reasonable person could surmise that, saying he would weaken the voting rights act, outlaw affirmative action, dilute black voting power, make it difficult to prove various kinds of discrimination, and approve cruel and unusual punishment.”

For those that are intersted in making a financial statement, Journal Communications, the parent company, is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol JRN.

* An idiot whose views are not in the mainstream of the world outside of 4th and State, the East and North Sides of Milwaukee, and the heart of Madistan and thus outside the mainstream of the majority of potential readers of the paint catcher he works for.

Homer nods – fixed a link and fixed O. Ricardo Pimentel’s title
